Laptops for under $700.00

Whether for the student in your life or yourself, take advantage of these deals on laptops. If you pay attention, laptops go on regular sales, typically around school time, graduation and then again before Christmas (usually around November). If you wait till one of these points, you’ll save a bundle.

Here are three great deals on laptops for under seven hundred bucks!

Browse Dell’s Small Business laptop section for a wide range of discounted laptops.  This particular laptop was the computer of choice for my picky, tech child.

FREE Microsoft 3000 Wireless Mouse with purchase (automatically included)

The specs on this one are: 17″ LED-Backlit WXGA+; Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 @ 2.2GHz; 3GB RAM; 250GB HDD; DVD burner; 802.11b/g; Vista Home Basic; 6-cell battery; 1yr warranty

And my personal favorite, from Wal-Mart.  I happen to like Dell, not as much as Lenovo, but still find them to be very servicable for the standard use.  In spite of the sometimes bad reputation for over heating, Dell has done well for me.

Dell 15.6″ Inspiron 1545 Laptop PC with Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 Processor & Windows 7 Tech Guarantee Upgrade

From $698.00
Final price depends on the options you choose. (be careful about pricing features). And a word to the wise, pre-shopping at a department chain like Wal-Mart, do your own research. It’s been my experience that I know more about the features than a lot of sales people in the store. Always look into what you want and price it first at other places.  Online purchasing is sometimes easier to compare prices, especially on Wal-Mart’s site. As far as this laptop, somehow, the color just seems kinda fun and funky. I’m tired of techy gadgets being boring in the looks department.
